You cannot sing without an open heart

And if you try, as soon as you start singing, your heart will naturally open more and more

Deva Premal & Mitten

Mantras are expanding all over the world. Deva Premal & Miten have had a prominent place on the top of this global phenomenon. Everywhere they perform, together with Nepalese bansuri maestro Manose, they introduce the ancient healing power of mantras.

Their transformational concerts have become legendary for millions of people, their concerts are always sold-out, and their music albums are among top on iTunes, Amazon a Billboard. Their album Deva scored 2019 Grammy nomination in the Best New Age Album category. Lately, they have launched their own App for meeting and interacting with their global Gayatri Sangha (community).

Their enchanting, meaningful european-asian music style attracts the attention of celebrities and world renowned public figures. It is known that even His Holiness Dalai Lama listens to their music. Their mantras found the way even to prisons (for example San Quentin), social houses for homeless and institutes for autistic children. Singing mantras is a way to relieve the heart and calm the mind.

Miten: "The meetings On the Wings of Mantra are not literally concerts. We do not see ourselves as entertainers or artists. We are creating our music for an experience together, to brighten our daily presence and to open the doors to a deeper experience from meditation. It is all about our mutual involvement. About singing, about mantras, about laughter and cry. It is a part of the whole, which emanates when we meet in meditation.”

This Planet is suffering. It is obvious that we cannot wait for the peace to come from “outside”. Deva and Miten are a proof, that singing the ancient mantras open the doors to our inner temple, where peace is infinite and abundant.

Deva: "Every theatre or hall is becoming a temple, when we meet to express gratitude through sacred singing. Our synchronized voices create a ground for transformation, which always happens. Singing mantras never fails and always uplifts tired soul regardless how deeply disconnected we are. In Sanskrit language, “man” means mind and “tra” means to liberate. So “mantra” is literally a bridge between noisy mind and inner peace. This has been the core of my own journey with music and meditation. From a song to silence.”
